You know reading with your kids is important. Literacy is the number one predictor of success, after all. But where do you start? Wonder if you're doing it right? How can you improve?

 

Join Jess Fernandez, M.S., CCC-SLP, a local mother of two children, a licensed speech-language pathologist (SLP), and founder of Stories to Speech for Talk, Learn, & Connect (TLC) Storytime. 

 

This fun and educational experience for toddlers and preschoolers features storytime with a twist: as the stories are read, Jess explains and demonstrates strategies that help improve your child’s speech and language skills and set them up for a lifetime of loving books and learning.  And the best part? As a parent, caregiver, babysitter, nanny, or relative, you can learn and apply these strategies too! With engaging interaction for the kids and empowering education for the adults, these classes are a win-win for everyone!

This class is great for babies, toddlers, and preschoolers ages six months to four and all ages are welcome! It's never too early or too late to start their story to success!
